Please join us on May 30, 7:30pm on the CCRMA Stage (The Knoll) for a sensory poetry event. "Reading Lee Todd Lacks" is an interdisciplinary performance for 35 blindfolded audience members. It is also an introduction to "inner theatre”, the flagship performative concept of Citit În, an interdisciplinary laboratory based in Bucharest, Romania dedicated to informal research on the poetics of senses. By substracting vision and using poetry as narrative, the performance is enhancing imagery residing within smell/touch/auditory perception.

Performed by Olga Berar (RO), Constantin Basica (RO/US), Alex Chechile (US), Adrian Ciglenean (RO) and Lee Todd Lacks (US).

Admission is free, but since only 35 audience members can be accommodated in the performance, please email cobasica [at] ccrma.stanford.edu (cobasica[at]ccrma[dot]stanford[dot]edu) by May 29 to reserve a seat.

The artists would like to thank CCRMA for the invitation and the Romanian Cultural Institute New York for making this event possible. Also a warm thank you goes to Gibraltar Editions for support. The event is supported by the Billie Achilles fund and the Bechtel International Center.
