Do the Russians want this war? What will happen in Russia after Putin? And, after all, is democracy possible in Russia? All these questions to me, a Russian politician and a close associate of Alexei Navalny, have been asked over the past months by journalists and people who are interested in politicians and current events in Ukraine now. And I have answers to these questions. In short, they sound like: no, the Russians do not want war. After Putin it will be better than before Putin, because Russia will have a chance to change towards democracy.
