Hoover Institution Library & Archives acquires Nobel poet Joseph Brodsky papers

The Hoover Institution Library & Archives at Stanford University recently acquired a collection of papers by Nobel Russian poet, Joseph Brodsky. The collection came from Diana Meyes, a friend and confidant of Brodsky, and includes photos, manuscripts, artwork and published and unpublished poems. With the acquision of these papers along with other materials, "Stanford has become a notable center for Brodsky studies in the United States," states Eric Wakin, the Robert H.
