Steven Pifer, BA ’76, former ambassador to Ukraine (1998-2000), who is currently a William J. Perry Fellow affiliated with the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) and The Europe Center (TEC) at Stanford's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI), where he leads the European Security Initiative, in a recent interview with the Kyiv Post characterized US-Ukrainian relations as being in good shape.
