I am extremely grateful to CREEES for the opportunity to study Russian in Moscow this past summer. The program at the Academy of National Economy was amazing - one-on-one instruction with outstanding instructors who were flexible to accommodate my scheduling requests. This allowed me to obtain extraordinary benefit from my time in Moscow. The Academy is also a long-standing partner with Stanford BOSP, so they were very happy to work with and support a Stanford student. The language instruction was critical for my communication abilities in the St. Alexis Russian Orthodox Hospital and for obtaining invaluable contacts and materials for my research on Russian Orthodox bioethics and for future collaborations. This summer opportunity was truly extraordinary and instrumental in my continuing research and career interests. Thank you CREEES!
