Teacher Workshops

In cooperation with the World Affairs Council of Northern California (WAC) and the Bay Area Global Education Program (BAGEP), CREEES organizes and conducts an annual series of workshops for secondary and post-secondary instructors, focused on contemporary or historical topics confronting the former Soviet Union and Central and Eastern Europe.

Funding for this workshop is provided by grants from the United States Department of Education (Title VI).

Video Lending Library
CREEES maintains a lending library of documentary films on Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia for educational use. Materials from the video lending library link are available for two-week checkout by instructors, for use in the classroom viewing and curriculum development. The user is responsible for paying return postage and postal insurance for the return package. Speakers' Bureau
CREEES arranges for Stanford area specialists and graduate students to give talks and lead discussions at schools and community non-profit organizations at no charge.
